Who we are

BISUMI is a family business in Kitakyushu, Japan. It is registered to Takayuki Umetani, a carpenter who has spent his working life building traditional wooden houses by hand.

That is where the standard here comes from: things that are made to be used every day, for a long time, and that look better for it.

He did not make anything in this shop. We choose things; we do not make them. Your order ships from a warehouse in the United States, which is why it reaches you in 3 to 7 business days and why there is nothing to pay when it arrives.
